This may be a dumb question, but does the 1.5 This may be a dumb question, but does the 1.5" diameter refer to the actual O.D. of the bailer or does it indicate that it will fit down a 1.5" diameter well. I looking for a bailer for 1.5" diameter groundwater observation wells. Thank you.
For a 1.5" well I would recommend getting our part # 78009. 78009 is the same bailer, but it has a .70" diameter. The 1.5" bailer will probably go in the well you have, but it is pretty snug and if there has been in shifting in the well shaft the bailer will get stuck.
